The dream combination of oil and butter! The silky texture provided by the lemon olive oil enchants pan-fried scallops or fresh oysters, gives a final touch to steamed vegetables, flavours your risotto or the shortbread of your strawberry pie.
The lemon olive oil comes from Sicily. Sicily's mild and temperate climate in winter and the sunshine in summer provides the olive trees with the ideal conditions to grow all year round. The olives are then handpicked and pressed together with the lemons.
The essential oils in the lemon zest mixed with the olive oil makes it very aromatic. Once it is a little oxidized, it is very slightly acidulous. The lemon gives it a freshness like nothing you've ever tasted.
